Walk down Rambla del Poblenou on a Tuesday morning and you’ll see old men playing cards outside a bar that hasn’t changed its sign since 1962, a graphic designer cycling past on her way to a converted warehouse, and a couple of tourists looking slightly confused about whether they’ve arrived somewhere interesting or accidentally left the city.
